About T.A.D.A.

Travelling Academy of Dramatic Arts (T.A.D.A.) was born from a deep belief in the power of drama to transform lives.

Whether it was the thrill of a spontaneous scene, the laughter shared in a rehearsal room, or the quiet confidence built over time - many of us found our voice through drama.

T.A.D.A. exists to pass that experience on: a place where people of all ages can discover their spark, express themselves freely, and connect through purposeful play.

What is T.A.D.A?

T.A.D.A. is a drama education business that specialises in Theatresports - a high energy, collaborative style of improvisation that builds storytelling skills, creativity, and teamwork. Through guided games and activities, students explore their imagination, develop quick thinking skills and grow in confidence.

Led by a qualified teacher and passionate drama educator, each class is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and fun whether you’ve never set foot on a stage; ready to jump back in or looking for somewhere to expand your craft.

In 2026, we will be offering three group classes, held on weekday afternoons:

  • Juniors (School Years 3 - 6) – A fun and energetic introduction to drama using games, movement, and roleplay. Expect laughter, team games, and imaginative challenges.

  • Seniors (School Years 7 - 12) – A space to build character skills, explore real world themes, and work on ensemble storytelling. Expect faster paced games, deeper scene work, and plenty of laughs.

  • Young Adults – A relaxed, low pressure space for creative expression and reconnection for people in university or in early in their career. Expect lots of improvisation, community building, and permission to play - no performance experience needed.

Additionally, we will be introducing our six week introductory course to Improvisation (Improv 101). It is the perfect place to learn the fundamental skills in teamwork, improv techniques and comedic scene development.

Finally, we offer bite sized experiences for you to try, as part of our T.A.D.A. social nights. These are designed for anyone who wants to use their drama skills in a fun and inventive way, while also meeting new people.

Whether your reason for joining is to develop your confidence, creativity, social connection, or simply trying something new, you are welcome exactly as you are.

What is our goal?

Too often, people go through life without a space to truly be themselves. They might feel shy, awkward, too much or not enough. Over time, that inner spark begins to fade.

At T.A.D.A., we’re here to reignite that.

We use drama not only to bring joy and laughter, but to help people reconnect with their voice. Our goal is to create a community where students feel seen, supported, and inspired. Where they can grow in confidence, form genuine connections, and rediscover what makes them shine.

Everyone deserves a space where they can be themselves and shine while doing it.

Growth Over Perfection

We’re not here to chase flawless performances. We celebrate progress, not perfection. Mistakes are where the best learning (and laughs) happen.

Purposeful Role Play

Lessons are packed with improvisation games, collaborative exercises, and real performance techniques. Every activity is fun, but also grounded in skill development and intentional learning.
